She began her professional journey as an entrepreneur, successfully managing her own restaurant and office cafeteria between 2015 and 2017. This experience strengthened her capabilities in business operations, customer service, team management, and financial planning.

In 2017, she transitioned into the education sector, joining New Pratham Public School in Bangalore as a Mathematics Teacher. Over the next four years, she taught students in Grades 3, 4, and 5 and was recognized for her ability to simplify complex concepts and create a supportive learning environment.

In 2021, Swapna moved into the corporate sector as an IT HR Recruiter at Sun Icon Private Limited, where she managed end-to-end recruitment processes including talent sourcing, candidate screening, and coordination with hiring managers.
